A year of blogging under my belt as of July 28th. I kinda forgot about it because I have been so busy with my mom and dad in town. Man, I never thought my parents would wear
me out. But it was great to see them and with a little luck it won't be long until they live down here as well. Seeing them certainly reminds me of how much I miss them and seeing them twice a year is just not enough.
What else has been going on? Not much really. Summer is moving along. The days are long and hot and it feels good. Spring is my favorite season down here but summer is a close second. The heat I don't mind. I like the way it makes me feel tired. That may sound odd, but there is something nice about drinking an iced tea while baking in the sun.
But anyway, I've been blogging for just over a year. It has been fun, though a bit intermittent. I do think it is good to write once in a while and a blog makes it so damn easy.
